What time was it last week at this time?

How a one-week lookback keeps the weekday, when to use 7 days vs 1 week, and how that differs from last month.

Last week

Same weekday, same clock

One week ago is seven days, so Tuesday 11:00 becomes last Tuesday 11:00. That is the lookup for weekly meetings and weekly jobs. Open /1-week-ago for the live answer.

“Last week” in conversation sometimes means “sometime last week”. This tool does not pick a random day. It picks this time of day, seven days earlier.

7 days ago vs 1 week ago

On this site they are the same duration. Use whichever phrase you will search for. Both URLs exist so a search for either form can land on a real page. Prefer /1-week-ago when you are thinking in weeks and /7-days-ago when you are thinking in days.

Last month is not four weeks

1 month ago on this site is 30 days, not a named calendar month. If you need “the 3rd of last month”, use the difference calculator with two dates, or your calendar. Do not substitute 4 weeks ago and call it a month.

Questions

What about 2 weeks ago?

Same idea: fourteen days, same weekday. Use /2-weeks-ago.
