Minute offsets are for events still in the current hour. You are not reconstructing last week. You want the exact minute so a support reply, a deploy note, or a screenshot caption matches the clock you are looking at.

1 minute ago is an immediate check. 5, 10, and 15 minutes ago match how people actually talk about recent messages. 30 minutes ago and 45 minutes ago sit on the way to 1 hour ago.
Seconds are part of the answer
The result pages include seconds. If you only need HH:MM, ignore the seconds; if you are matching a log, keep them. Read minutes ago for logs for the method.

What time was it 15 minutes ago?
Open /15-minutes-ago. The page subtracts 15 × 60 seconds from your device clock, including seconds, so a log line can match a screenshot.
Why not just look at the notification time?
Chat apps round, hide seconds, or show “15m” without a clock. A minutes-ago page gives HH:MM:SS in your timezone for notes and tickets.
When should I switch to hours ago?
Once the event is about an hour back, 45 minutes ago and 1 hour ago are clearer than stacking minute offsets. Use /hours-ago for those.
